Transportation
Cranston is an extremely good part of Calgary for moving around by car. Many properties for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to find a parking spot. In contrast, the public transit network in Cranston is rather limited. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Cranston is not very amenable to cycling as. Nevertheless, the area is quite flat. Most homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for those who travel by foot as carrying out daily needs is impractical.
Services
Daycares and primary schools are convenient to access on foot from most houses for sale in this part of the city. However, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood. In terms of eating, accessing the closest grocery store on foot is practical for some, but not all, property owners in Cranston. Residents benefit from a few restaurants and coffee shops as well.
