Travelling by car is very convenient in this neighbourhood. Nearby highways are quite easy to reach from anywhere in Diver Lake, and it is especially convenient to come across a place to park. In contrast, the public transit network in this part of the city is rather limited. Nevertheless, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and it is straightforward to get to a nearby bus stop from most homes. This neighbourhood is not very conducive to walking as carrying out daily needs is at times difficult.
Services
Some, but not all, home buyers in this area will reside within walking distance of the closest grocery store. Residents of this part of Nanaimo can enjoy a few restaurants as well. With respect to education, in Diver Lake, families will commonly be able to access daycares on foot. In contrast, there are only a limited number of primary schools in this area and therefore they can be a long walk away. Likewise, Diver Lake does not have any high schools.
