Hammond Bay is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to park. In contrast, residents using public transit may have limited options in Hammond Bay by reason of the low service level. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. Many of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking as running daily errands is inconvenient on foot.
Services
There are only a few primary schools in this part of the city and consequently they can be a rather long walk away. Moreover, Hammond Bay does not contain any high schools. Likewise, daycares are not especially plentiful and consequently tend to require an extended walk to get to. With regards to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is required in Hammond Bay to reach the nearest supermarket.
