The best method of transportation in Saint John is very often a car. Most properties for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is especially convenient to park. In contrast, public transit riders may have limited options in Saint John due to the infrequent service. Nevertheless, the city is served by about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. It is impractical for people walking to move around in Saint John since very few daily needs can be carried out on foot.
Services
Accessing one of around 20 grocery stores on foot is an option for some, but not all, house buyers in Saint John. Residents benefit from over 150 restaurants and coffee shops as well. As far as education is concerned, it can be difficult to walk to high schools and primary schools from houses for sale in Saint John. In addition, parents may find it difficult for their kids to get to daycares on foot.
Character
Saint John is reasonably good for those who like quiet areas, as the streets tend to be quite peaceful - however noise can be problematic around one of the railway lines or the airport (YSJ). It is rather challenging to reach parks in the city since they are spread out sporadically. Still, there are approximately 30 parks close by for residents to explore.
