About Living in LaSalle, Ontario
Transportation
Cars are a great transportation option in LaSalle. It is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. However, this area is not a very pleasant part of LaSalle for travelling by public transit. Nonetheless, the community is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. Walking is not very convenient for home buyers in LaSalle as meeting daily needs is at times difficult.
Services
Parents and their kids may find it difficult to reach high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. Likewise, there are only a limited number of daycares and thus they can be a rather long walk away. When it comes to eating, reaching the nearest supermarket on foot is an option for some, but not all, house buyers in this part of the town. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well.
Character
LaSalle is quiet, as the streets are usually quite calm - although that is not the case around Highway 3, Highway 401 or the railway line.
