It is convenient to come across a parking spot, and it is a short car ride to the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, from any home in The Haig. In contrast, public transit riders may experience few choices in this part of the city by reason of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, house owners have access to approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby.

It is very easy to reach the closest supermarket by walking in The Haig. In addition, The Haig is a good place in which to go out to eat, and a limited variety of coffee shops is available as well. Character
The Haig is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm environment. Green spaces are very well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out, which makes it easy to access them. Most areas in this neighbourhood are quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to Queen Elizabeth Way.
