Beacon Hill is especially car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Autoroute du Souvenir, are very easy to reach from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and coming across a place to park is easy. In contrast, the public transit network in this area is not especially convenient. Nonetheless, Property owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. This neighbourhood is not very cycling-friendly as the topography is not particularly flat, and there are few bike lanes. Walking is also not very popular in Beacon Hill, even though many daily errands can be run without the use of a car.

The noise levels in this area are quite low, as the streets tend to be peaceful - although there are still several noisier sections, especially around one of the railway lines. Lastly, there is a fair amount of greenery in this neighbourhood; public green spaces are easy to get to since there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit. Furthermore, residents will find that many tree-lined streets are around.
