The public transit system in Cité Universitaire is reasonably practical. In terms of eating, it is convenient to get to the closest supermarket on foot from anywhere in Cité Universitaire. There is an extensive selection of green spaces in Cité Universitaire. There are about 10 public green spaces nearby for residents to enjoy, like Jardin botanique Roger-Van den Hende, and they are especially well-distributed, which makes it easy to get to them. As there are few pedestrians, this part of the city is relatively quiet; however there can be more noise for those who are closer to Autoroute Charest, Autoroute Robert-Bourassa or the railway line.
