This part of Richmond is very car friendly. Finding a place to park is quite easy, and many houses for sale are a very short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 99. In contrast, commuting by transit can be at times challenging in East Cambie as a result of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. East Cambie is not very cycling-friendly as riding is rendered arduous by the typically hilly area, and there are very few bike lanes. Walking in this part of the city is also not very popular, although many common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle.

Moreover, this part of the city is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and a small selection of cafes is available as well.
