Guildford is especially car friendly. Parking is generally easy, and most homes for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. However, this part of Surrey is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, property owners benefit from about 10 bus lines, and it is easy to find a nearby bus stop from most homes. Guildford is not very conducive to cycling as there are few bike lanes, and there are quite a few elevation changes. Travelling on foot is also not very feasible for home buyers in Guildford because running day-to-day errands is at times challenging by walking.

Services

Families will appreciate that no matter where their home is situated in this part of Surrey, daycares and primary schools are close by. However, it can be difficult to get to high schools on foot. The character of Guildford is exemplified by its calm atmosphere.
